We pick out Sylvia's first Christmas tree

The rain didn't keep us from having fun today. We bundled up the Pinkie and went on an adventure to Butterfly Farm to pick out a Christmas tree. The farm is behind the Hearthside house on Great Road. I would say that it is at least 40 acres (note to self: check up on this).

On the way there, Teton was looking for that little critter that doesn't love a wall. From the looks of this wall, they've been at it for years. Carolyn and I both liked the wall though and so I took this picture of her and Sylvia, and this one too.

Carolyn decided she wanted a Balsa Tree. Because my favorite wood cross country racing skiis are made of Balsa, I agreed. Looking back, I think it was an excellent choice.
