We've had our parents staying with us for several weeks now. First my lovely wife's parents and then my mom. We've taken advantage of their babysitting skills and enjoyed the first dates for maybe about six months.

We thought about seeing the latest Harry Potter, but decided instead to check out the Avon. They were playing a movie called Napoleon Dynamite by two BYU students filmed in Preston, Idaho. Since I grew up a town similiar to Preston, we had to go.

It was a fantastic movie - destined to be one of my favorites of all time. There wasn't a single swear word in the entire movie. Not that the film was Mormon in any way, but it captured life in Utah and southern Idaho perfectly. It gave a nod to that other Utah teen movie classic - Footloose. I'm buying a copy for my personal collection and plan to show it to as many people as I can.
