The pinkie is crawling everywhere. Gone are the days when I could just sit her in the room and turn my attention to the computer. She fixes on the most expensive, breakable, and dangerous object in the room and makes a beeline for it. When she isn't sleeping, she is a handful.
I weasled out of baby duty this morning by telling my lovely wife I was going to Home Depot to get inspired for projects. I did go to Home Depot, but everything they sell there (except the grills and I already have one) has "chore-weekend" stamped on it. Yucko! I have enough chores watching the weeds take over my lawn as it is. I took a quick look around long enough to quench any guilt I had over being lazy, and headed to Dick's Sporting Goods to check out fun stuff.
At Dick's, they had these great little silver soccer balls. Perfect baby toy. I don't even have to bother with Babies are us. I can get myself something, buy the pinkie a toy, and I'll still be in good standing with the boss. What a toy too! Is bright and shiny and rolls really well, so she keeps herself well occupied chasing it around the (not really) childproof room.
Me, well I'm taking advantage of the busy baby by blogging and writing a fun little skunkworks app in Spring. It will let you select random sounds you upload and turn them into an MP3. More on that later.
